26 Years of Green: Expanding Our Tradition Across the Broadway

For the past 26 years the sight of our setup on East Broadway has signaled the start of the Saint Patrick’s Day season in Southie. This year, we are proud to celebrate 26 years of green of College Hype with a major milestone of our own.

For the first time ever, we are expanding. To better serve the neighborhood and the crowds, we will be selling on the street at two prime locations this season:

• The Staple: Our classic home on East Broadway, right in the heart of the tradition.

• The New Addition: A brand-new second location on West Broadway, bringing the hype to the other side of the route.
