We were honored to welcome NBC 10 Boston to the College Hype showroom as they featured our exclusive Big Game tees ahead of the Big Game this Sunday. Having a local news outlet highlight our work — and the mission behind these shirts — means a lot to our entire team.

Thousands of specialty T-shirts are being printed out at College Hype in Weymouth ahead of Sunday’s big game. College Hype CEO Jack Doherty explained a portion of the proceeds are going to the Matt Brown foundation which supports those battling paralysis. Brown suffered a spinal cord injury during a high school hockey game in 2010.

This past Sunday, we headed over to TD Garden for the 10th annual BFit Challenge, and honestly, the energy in that building never gets old. If you’ve never been, it’s a total rush—even if your legs are screaming by the end of it. The BFit Challenge is put on by the Boston Bruins Foundation, and it’s a pretty incredible sight. You’ve got firefighters in full gear, police officers, EMS, and military members all hitting the stairs to raise money for first responder charities.

This past Saturday, our College Hype team had the privilege of spending the morning giving back to our community at the Weymouth Food Pantry. In partnership with Alma Cares, Chef Paul Wahlberg, and the incredible staff and volunteers at the pantry, we rolled up our sleeves and joined an amazing effort to support local families in need this holiday season. And together? We packed 750 boxes in just 45 minutes. Yes—750 boxes. Yes—in under an hour.

This past Sunday, we brought our A-game to the Flutie 5K Run/Walk for Autism in Natick, MA. We volunteered from dawn, decking out Natick Common with banners, finish-line arches, and swag bags we proudly helped design, then laced up to run the 5K alongside an incredible crowd.

At College Hype, we’re thrilled to have partnered with the Flutie Foundation for their 26th Annual Flutie 5K for Autism, happening this Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Natick High School in Natick, MA. This year we had the opportunity to print the official race shirts, ensuring over 1,500 runners, walkers, and rollers stay comfortable and look sharp on the 3.1-mile course. With many of our team and customers personally connected to autism, this event is close to our hearts.

College Hype proudly sponsors a vital leadership conference for South Shore food pantry leaders on September 11th. With recent SNAP benefit cuts and rising food insecurity, this one-day event will bring together volunteer leaders to strengthen collaboration and provide essential nonprofit training during unprecedented community need.

College Hype team member Evan Doherty transformed his Falmouth Road Race run into a powerful fundraising mission, raising over $6,000 for the Matt Brown Foundation. His achievement demonstrates how athletic pursuits can drive meaningful community impact, supporting individuals and families navigating paralysis challenges while embodying our company's core values of community connection and positive impact.

Community spirit was in full force this past Friday, July 25th, as College Hype hosted its second annual dunk tank and cold plunge fundraiser, raising over $10,000 for the Matt Brown Foundation. Despite the sweltering heat, scores of supporters gathered at our Weymouth location for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and meaningful fundraising.

We are deeply honored to announce our college's sponsorship of the Annual Tbo14 Golf Tournament, taking place on Monday, July 21st, 2025 at Northern Spy Golf Course in Townsend, MA. This meaningful event supports Jake Thibeault on his courageous journey of recovery from a spinal cord injury sustained while playing hockey. All proceeds go to the Bruin's Foundation in Jake's name to continue providing financial support for his therapy at Journey Forward.
