College Hype has partnered with National Grid to contribute $5,000 to the Martin Richard Foundation's ambitious Dorchester Fieldhouse+ project. The donation, presented at National Grid's iconic rainbow gas tank in Dorchester, marks another step forward in the Foundation's quest to build the $70 million state-of-the-art recreational facility.
The Martin Richard Foundation was established in honor of Martin Richard, the youngest victim of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. The Foundation's vision for the Dorchester Fieldhouse includes indoor athletic facilities, educational spaces, and community gathering areas designed to embody Martin's message of peace, inclusion, and kindness.

When completed, the Fieldhouse will serve thousands of Dorchester residents, offering much-needed year-round recreational opportunities and creating a hub for community connection and youth development.
The Martin Richard Foundation continues to welcome community partners and donations as they work toward their fundraising goal. The Fieldhouse project stands as a testament to Martin's legacy and the power of community collaboration to create lasting positive change in the Dorchester neighborhood.
